On Monday 8 October the Dutch crown prince Willem-Alexander
and his fiancé
Máxima Zorreguieta from Argentina
made their first visit to the province
South-Holland.

They arrived in Dordrecht - the oldest city of Holland - and from there
they went by
Fast Ferry to the world famous windmills of Kinderdijk.

After that they went by ferry to the silver village Schoonhoven and
finished their visit in the old town city of
Gouda.

Máxima and Willem-Alexander
married on 2 February 2002.

Radio Rijnmond had a special program about the visit
and I made live reports about this national news all day.
I even made a live report from Schoonhoven for
Radio West.
