Leo at City Hall evacuation - Dordrecht - Holland - 31 October 2001
Just
coming back Wednesday 31 October round 10.30 AM from an interview
with the leaving Mayor Dick Corporaal of Zwijndrecht
I heard on my scanner something was going on
at the City Hall of Dordrecht at the Spuiboulevard.
At the
City Hall I heard from a police man that they found
a suspect suitcase near the front door.
The
whole City Hall was evacuated and the Spuiboulevard
(one of the main roads to the city center) was closed for all
traffic.
After 15 minutes the police found out that the suitcase was empty.
Mayor
Ronald Bandell of Dordrecht personally wanted to see
the suitcase. And it was a nice moment to interview him.
