Leo at woman in hostage - Dordrecht - Holland - 27 February 2002
On Wednesday
afternoon 27 February 2002 round 17.00 Etienne called me
about a hostage situation in the Van der Zaanstraat in Dordrecht. I went there quickly.
There was a woman with 2 children kept hostage on the balcony of the first floor.
An
Israeli man - illegal in Holland - took his ex-wife and the
children
threatening them with a knife to this flat from another house in
Dordrecht.
When 2 police men came to the flat one of them was
badly injured with the knife.
He was brought to the hospital by ambulance.
The
Dordrecht Fire Department came with a ladder car
and took the woman and children from the balcony
after that the police entered the house from the balcony.
When
they came in nobody was there anymore
but the backdoor was open.....
