Leo at new disco security system - Dordrecht - Holland - 29 August 2002

Disco Security - Dordrecht - Holland - 29 August 2002

When the discotheque
Scanners in Dordrecht stopped after 2½ years
one of the employees made it into a bar-dancing
and named it
Amigo's.

Scanners stopped because of the problems some visitors caused.

Because of that the new owner did not want to take any risk
and bought the latest security system of The Safety Dance Company.

It's simple.
All visitors have a card after their photo is taken and put away in a computer.
If someone misbehaves, it's typed in the computer.
The computer is conected to other computers of other discotheques.

If someone is refused because of misbehaviour,
he or she will also be refused at the other conected disco's.

At the introduction on thursday afternoon 29 August 2002
of the new Amigo's and the introduction of the new security system (new for Holland)
Mayor Ronald Bandell (left) and elderman Hans Spigt (second left) also were invited.

For a test Amigo's put in the computer
that Hans Spigt is refused because he "uses softdrugs".
As you can see in red on the computer screen.

The new security system may be also be used
in discotheques in Rotterdam
and other cities in Holland.

I made a reportage for the morning news program
about this regional news on
Radio Rijnmond.
