Mayor Antoin Scholten of Zwijndrecht
in Cologne got aboard the inland tanker
Commander of shipper Ronald Versloot.
Because in Zwijndrecht a lot of shippers
have their homes ashore
Mayor Scholten wanted to experience
the work of an inland shipper by himself.
He wrote a daily
diary about it
in the regional newspaper De Dordtenaar.
Two days after his
boarding
Leo met Mayor Antoin Scholten
on the Commander
in the Yangtze Harbour in Rotterdam-Europoort
(the latest harbour most close to the Northsea).
They where already
waiting over 1 day
to unload contaminate oil at the Nerefco refinery.
Unfortunately
Ronald Versloot forgot
to put a memory card in his camera
when he made pictures of me
but happily Mayor Scholten
made some pictures of me
interviewing Ronald Versloot.
Leo made a report about it
for the afternoon news program of 8 April 2005.
