Leo interviewed on RTL 4 in a Radio Rijnmond studio about the Yellow Gnomes
How strange can it get?...
Thursday
night 27 April 2006 after a night shift for Radio Rijnmond
Leo went to a bar with his favorite colleague Mooike de Moor for
a drink.

When
they returned to the RTV Rijnmond building round 2.15
AM
they saw 20 or more yellow gnomes round the RTV Rijmond building
and some people running to a dark blue van.
Mooike ran to the van and asked them about it but they escaped.
There only were stickers on the gnome with a web address.
Leo made some pictures with his handy at the front door of RTV Rijnmond...
Leo and Mooike each took home 1 gnome...
When
the first colleague arrived on 5.30 AM
there only were left 2 gnomes.
Later
that day Leo find out it was national news
because a journalist of the national broadcasting company RTL 4
called him and asked him to lend his yellow gnome
to use it in the studio.
When
Leo told the story of the night before
RTL 4 wanted to interview the journalists Leo and Mooike
for the news program 4 in het Land.
And they did...

And that's TV:
Mooike
was cut out of the item
Leo was only on TV with the sentence
"It
looked like Pim Fortuyn saying 'At Your
Service'
but later I saw the gnome has a telephone in his hand"
And
they took Leo's yellow gnome to the studio in Hilversum
to put it on the desk
never used it but returned it overnight.
AND
Whe still do not know where the yellow gnomes come from.
Is
it a phone company?
The gnome is holding a handy to his ear...
